* The PBR Shortcut: Disaster, Genuis, Too Short, Too Long, or Too Long for Bowman Now That He’s Vowed to Race Clean?

I originally thought the shortcut was too short. I mean, what busniess did I have at the descent on Lap 1 right behind Neyen? On Lap 4, when I saw Neyen in front of me near the same spot—because I'd just been lapped—I realized the PBR advantage is short-lived. Considering only 1 of the top 6 finishers in either race ever took a peeber, it seems to work. Plus, watching Ray slowly pick away at Ryan's advantage every lap was cool.

My question is this: What's the advantage to getting to pound a peeber before your heart rate has gone deep in the red?

I ask, because I was too stupid to take that advantage ... last week.
