Vote "No" on Plunket

Keith, you of all people should be familiar with the rules of the IFOCE. They are harsh but fair. Any "reversals of fortune" ANY TIME during an event result in a score of 0.

Any hack can slam 3 beers, throw them up, then slam 3 more. It takes a true competitor to fight back the heaves, stomach convulsions, and inebriation all while navigating roots and ruts with a 180 bpm HR.

Please see http://www.ifoce.com/home.php with any questions.

I don't know if I could show my face the next week after such a showing.

Yeah, pile on Plunkett! In our other local competitive eating event, the Donut Derby, the rules state: "There are only 2 rules: All donuts must be eaten in the Donut Zone and if you chum a field, you're DNF'd." Evil or Very Mad

Woo-hoo, look what we've got here. Our very first 2-page "discussion" on Race Commentary. How did I know this topic would generate much debate?

Not that any of it means jack on the final decision.

I reflected all weekend over your comments. I feel ashamed. Ive decided to step down as beer champ. This said, I will not stop drinking. I can't.... as I look at that beautiful red, white, and blue can I think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I dont keep drinking, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I keep drinking and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver and a PBR championship.

Just Calm Down...

Post  Ryan P. on Mon Nov 12, 2007 8:36 pm

Plunkett:
Be like Floyd and proclaim your innocence until, well, forever (even though we all know he/you did it).
The ruling will soon come from the Godfather and he may come to you and ask you to perform a task at a later date...
Until then, mix it up in the PBR race. Sanctions such as these take months of arbitration until a verdict is handed down. Until then, DRINK YOUR ASS OFF!!!
We don't want to win like this. A "stained" PBR jersey is nothing to be proud of. That * would always be there.
See you soon.

Keith's PBR's

Post  KUKLIS on Tue Nov 13, 2007 7:57 pm

I'm not calling for a total PBR correction, just the 5 Keith "drank" the night in question.

We have to have accountability here people. If not, I'm showing up with a funnel, and bonging beers with reckless abandon.
