2 points? Really? That's it?
Pretty proud, huh? ....of beating a guy with bronchitis.
Keep drinking, chump.

Re: Season Multiplier
Just noting that the larger multiplier does not guarantee the title. For instance, with current scores if Brad had a multiplier of 60 and Bowman 61, then Brad would be leading by a thin margin.
Fascinating, huh?

Re: Season Multiplier
Yeah... for multiplier deficit of "1," I would need to be ahead of Bowman by my current GC total (3325), plus 1 (3326) in order to be ahead of him. See the math below if it ended with the example of 60 vs. 61.
(I can't beleive I'm actally doing this...)
Brad 3325 x performance multiplier (60) = 199,500
Bowman 3259 x performance multiplier (61) = 198,799 [edited]
(and that doesn't figure in PBRs)
So, as you see I've got my work cut out for me, 'cause he's such a drunken sot!
[Note: I'm better a riding than I am at math]

Re: Season Multiplier
I can't believe there's more than one person (Bill) who actually understands the multiplier!

Re: Season Multiplier
This is the best multiplier ever--we were counting seconds last night during the ITT, it's so close. Between the Brad/Bowman showdown (watch out for that sneak Ryan, too) and the PBR Race, FSX is going to the wire this year.

Re: Season Multiplier
Speaking of that sneak Ryan, during his ITT, he chugged his PBR in 10.5 seconds!!! Although, Plunkett was a little ticked that there was quite a bit of beer dripping out of his can...

Oy. I know I'm having a bad day when Bowman and Brad are questioning my math.
So anyone with a calculator take a stab at the multiplication performed above by Brad. Good. Multiply 3259 by 61. What do you get?

Re: Season Multiplier
You know, I was thinking that perhaps I didn't understand the multiplier after all when I couldn't follow Brad's math. Steak's right, of course, at 198,799. And even Bowman can't drink 700 beers to make up for it. But that's all conjecture anyway...next week should be fun.
Oh, and in Ryan's defense of his PBR spillage: He was forced to drink a second PBR on that same TT as a penalty. No whining or complaining, just crushing the 2nd-best time by more than 30 seconds. (No credit for the beer in the PBR Race, don't worry.)
